Shawn Lee – Soul In The Hole (2009)

Da Shawn Lee schon immer ein Fan von alten Soulsongs war, hat er 2009 eine Art Tribute-Album aufgenommen. Zusammen mit einer Auswahl von Gastmusikern nimmt er den Hörer mit in alte Zeiten, in denen der Soul seine stärkste Phase hatte. Qualitativ kann er auch wirklich mit den alten Größen mithalten. Von vorne bis hinten weist dieses Album fast nur Highlights auf, speziell der Titelsong „Soul In The Hole“ und "Something".
